~Once A Best Friend~
The first day I met you,
Our eyes met and we smiled,
I pretended to like you as a friend,
For I despise you in many ways...
Days passed, I began to see your true relection,
For you were the only friend I had,
Truths began to unfold in front me,
And I feared you in many ways...
Yet, I still want your attention and care,
I do not understand myself,
I saw a bright future lying ahead of us,
But still I want to end this journey...
You were always there by my side,
But I needed to be set free,
I felt like a trap bird in the rusty cage,
For you tie me down to the ground...
You words are like poisonous daggers,
Stabbing my frail heart repeatingly,
This unbearable pain I cannot take it anymore,
I have to leave you before I am destroyed...
At last we parted in our journey,
I chose a path of freedom,
Our parting ended in a tragic ending,
For you hated me more than I do...
I knew that I cannot change you,
For you are who you are,
We may look like were are meant for each other,
But we were gloves that do not match...
I'm sorry for what I've done or said.
I'll definately regret this decision of mine,
But I shall always respect you,
For you were once a best friend of mine...

I'm a girl who leads a normal life.
Like everyone else, there are so many things that bears in my mind which I desire to tell the world, but I fear that no one listens.
In my heart holds many deep feelings.
Feelings of happiness, despair, anger, love, hatred, disappointment and confusion.
Feelings that holds many memories of the past.
By using poetry as an art of expression, I not only wrote about my feelings, thoughts and anecdotes, but also about others.
