*~ …FaLLeN AnGeL…~*
( A poem dedicated to a friend )

Round and round circles he ran,
Trying to break free from a curse,
A curse that he’d caused before,
A curse that foretells destruction…

The star, the moon, and the sun,
Everything that shines above him,
Left him, leaving him in nightmares,
Leaving him trapped in the webs of darkness…

It was then he finally opened his eyes,
Realizing how much destruction he’d caused,
Hatred and anger were his friends,
But now, they’re murdering him silently…

Jealousy, hatred, vengeance, selfishness,
Conquered the naïve angel inside him,
Slowly molding him into an evil monster,
The same face, but a black heart…

The harmless fire he played before,
Destroyed himself and everything he has,
He lost everything and gained nothing,
Leaving him all alone but himself…

Tears of deep agony and regret,
Fell from his sored and weary eyes,
He wished he could turn back time,
And return to who he was before…

But it was too late,
Time is fair and life isn’t,
It was him, who chose this path,
The path of darkness and agony…

A great archangel he was before,
But now fallen and lured by the devils,
Into the sinister realm of damnation,
A decision made by him unknowingly…

As he gazed remorsefully into a mirror,
A similar image of his appears,
The same face, the same body,
But inside, a Fallen Angel…

He tries to be a better person by trying to get rid of his bad attitude. This bad attitude of his had made his life miserable…
All his close friends that supports him had left him alone with all the problems he had caused…
One day, he finally realized what he had done. All because he had changed into a different person who holds grudges and easily angered. This attitude of his are destructing him…
Jealousy, hatred, vengeance and selfishness filled his heart. He then slowly transformed into someone different inside who has negative personality traits…
At first this attitude did not really show and was not bad. But then slowly it controlled him and it became critical. Because of this, his friends left him all alone…
He learnt his lesson and he was depressed about his changes. He wished he had never become this person before. He wished he could turn back time where things in his life were perfect…
But it was too late. It was the inner him who chose to become this person at the first place…
Before this, he was someone well liked by others. But because of these negative traits that were controlling him, he became this monster unknowingly…
He then reflects back at himself one night. Reminiscing his past of who he actually was before and comparing with himself in the present. Even though his physical features are the same, but inside, lives a very different person from before…

I'm a girl who leads a normal life. Like everyone else, there are so many things that bears in my mind which I desire to tell the world, but I fear that no one listens. In my heart holds many deep feelings. Feelings of happiness, despair, anger, love, hatred, disappointment and confusion. Feelings that holds many memories of the past.

By using poetry as an art of expression, I not only wrote about my feelings, thoughts and anecdotes, but also about others. I hope you will take your time to read and understand these poems that I want to share with you.

Let's talk this over,
It's not like we're dead,
Was it something I did?
Was it something you said?
Don't leave me hanging,
In the city so dead,
Held up so high on such a breakable thread.

You were all the things I thought I knew,
And I thought we could be...

You were everything,
Everything that I wanted,
We were meant to be, suppose to be,
But we lost it...
All of the memories so close to me just fade away

So much for my happy ending...

You've got your dumb friends,
I know what they say
They tell you I'm difficult.
And so are they...
But they don't know me.
Do they ever know you?
All the things you hide from me!
All the shit that you do!

It's nice to know that you were there.
Thanks for acting like you cared
And making me feel like I was the only one...
It's nice to know that we had it all.
Thanks for watching as I fall
And never letting me know that we were done
